We were visited by a student from the University of West England, Steve Hood, who wanted to feature us in his final year project on homophobia in football. We’ve been getting quite a lot of requests from students lately who are all interested in our club and why we exist. Steve has put together a great video, which features our Captain Chris Green and a variety of Dragons players in action.
Arsenal Stars back the Rainbow Laces campaign
FA Cup winners Arsenal, Paddy Power, Stonewall and the Gay Football Supporters’ Network have again teamed up to help tackle one of the toughest challenges in sport: homophobia in football. The Rainbow Laces campaign is in it’s second year now and has helped to raise the profile of tackling homophobia in sport. The Dragons have laced up both years with their lovely rainbow laces.
