Cardiff Dragons are proud to announce that they have recently achieved a Disability Sport Wales kite mark for inclusion in the club.
The “Insport” award is an accreditation process which sports clubs can go through to show they are committed to providing and delivering inclusive sport. The Dragons have always had an inclusive approach to welcoming members from all sections of the community, and now the Insport award gives the club some formal recognition of being inclusive to the disabled community.
The Dragons have achieved the Ribbon award which is the first step of four awards which demonstrate a club’s commitment to equality and inclusion. They were guided through the process by Jo Coates-McGrath who is the Disability Sport Wales officer for Cardiff Sport.
